GIVE US THE BACKGROUND - WHEN AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO OPEN A RECORD SHOP?

Jam has been a fixture on Falmouth’s High Street for 17 years now and has constantly adapted to the changing retail environment. This last six months has seen even more change. Whilst in lockdown, like most shops we revamped our web site and hunkered down in the home office to serve our customers remotely. Now we are back open welcoming everyone in a few at a time. We’re well distanced and all hand sanitized on the way in and out – just happy to be vinyl hunting again. We’re looking forward to a slightly different RSD offering this year with a socially distanced queue and three browsers in the shop at a time. The best part for me though will remain seeing the same three faces at the head of the queue – they keep us going through the year and have supported us on RSD for the last ten plus years come rain or shine… shout out to Martin, Chris and Ade - they are the best.
